The photo of Dune 45 below was taken through a plane window, when I took a scenic flight over the Namib
in 2006. This is just to show you how it looks from above. One can see the parking area on the left,
about two thirds from the bottom.

When other people were climbing Dune 45, I've spent my time taking

I think this dead tree is one of the most photographed dead trees in the world and it is very polular
with photographers.
