Victoria Falls, Zambia & Zimbabwe
|
These photos were all taken from the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. It was also taken during the
dry season. Hopefully I will be able to see the Falls again during a rainy season, as this is a spectacular
sight. I've seen it about 30 years ago, but then I wasn't interested in photography at all.

On the photo on the right one can see the rubber ducks, about to take off on a white water rafting experience.
|
|
Hopefully I will be able to go white water rafting in the near future too, as this is one of the dreams
I have for the future.

This bridge connects Zimbabwe and Zambia with each other. This bridge is also world famous for Bungi
Jumping.

The two photos above and the ones below, were taken over the Zambezi River, behind the Victoria Falls.
What seams like fog or steam, is the spray from the falls.

|
This photo was taken by the woman who travelled with me and was taken just after I came back from photographing
the falls.

Victoria Falls 2009 This year I have been fortunate to see Vic Falls with the Zambezi river
in flood. It wasn't during the rainy season, but water still came in from Angola, from the previous rainy
season.
|
The photo above was taken from The Waterfront Lodge and the one below was taken from a helicopter. Both
photos are from the back side of the falls.
|
The photo on the right, as well as all the photos below were all taken from a helicopter. This was the
first time that I have seen the falls from above. Because the falls were in flood, it was difficult to
get a clear view of the falls or even to walk to the view points. People got soaking wet and I didn't
want to take a risk of my cameras getting wet.
