purses,
small rugs and whatever you want to brighten up with bright yellow
sunflowers.
Detailed instructions are included
with the design files.
The background of
this wall hanging was made of recycled jeans, which I cut into strips
of
different widths and lengths. I just sewn the pieces and strips together,
without any pattern.
I used the darkest denim for the leaves and
stems.

Projects and Ideas.
These designs are fun and easy. Embroider a number of flowers and
leaves and make some
1/4 inch of 6mm bias tape for the stems beforehand
and start to play.
The quilt above is one of my Paint Shop Pro quilts
and I only used one image to create
a simple quilt, which won't take much
time to make.
Here is the 8x8 inch design embroidered on a white
tee shirt.
Here I embroidered the 8x8 inch design on a
black tee shirt, but that was before I decided
to digitize a satin
stitch edge around the sunflower. I put Fray Check on the edges of
the
sunflower, but not on the flower centre, before I washed it. There are no frays
on the
petals, so it shows that you can put Fray Check on the edges if you
don't like frayed edges,
before you stitch the flowers or leaves onto your
projects.
