I don't think there is an explanation, but I am always wondering why in some cases only the male antilopes
have horns and in some cases the females have horns too.

The giraffe on top is a female, while the one at the bottom is a male. To see the difference, look at
the horns. A female has thinner horns and the horns have more hair at the tips. A male has thicker horns
and the tips have less hair with a "bald" bony part.
